Scaling down AWS costs without cutting capacity
The challenge
A growing business had migrated to AWS early and never revisited the setup as usage patterns changed. Instances were oversized for actual load, storage tiers were misconfigured, and nobody owned ongoing cost review. The bill kept climbing every quarter with no clear explanation.
What we did
We ran a full infrastructure audit, right-sized EC2 instances against real usage data, moved eligible workloads to reserved and spot pricing, and restructured S3 storage classes around actual access patterns. Auto-scaling was tuned to match real traffic instead of static worst-case provisioning.
Results
- Meaningful reduction in monthly AWS spend
- No drop in performance or uptime during the transition
- Ongoing cost monitoring handed back to the client's team with a simple monthly checklist
Rebuilding a monday.com CRM workflow from the ground up
The challenge
The client's sales and delivery teams were both using monday.com, but the two boards didn't talk to each other. Deals closed in one board with no automatic handoff to the delivery board, so nothing kicked off until someone remembered to update it manually.
What we did
We redesigned the board structure end-to-end and built automations so a closed deal automatically creates a delivery item, assigns the right owner, and notifies the team, removing the manual handoff step entirely. Status changes now flow both directions instead of living in two disconnected systems.
Results
- Manual handoff step eliminated between sales and delivery
- Faster time from "deal closed" to "work started"
- One shared source of truth instead of two boards drifting out of sync
Ongoing Microsoft 365 support for a growing team
The challenge
A business scaling from a handful of employees to a much larger team had outgrown ad-hoc IT support. License assignments were inconsistent, offboarding was inconsistent, and there was no single point of contact when something broke.
What we did
We took over Microsoft 365 administration entirely: standardized license tiers by role, built a repeatable onboarding/offboarding checklist, and became the team's single help-desk contact with defined response times.
Results
- Consistent, auditable license assignment across the org
- Same-day resolution on the large majority of support tickets
- No security gaps left behind from inconsistent offboarding
